Volkspark Friedrichshain, Berlin

Volkspark am Friedrichshain, one of the oldest parks in Berlin, is a nice spot especially in the warmer months. The park itself is quite large, has a nice pond in the middle, and tons of paths throughout the park suitable for running or biking along. It's a good alternative if you don't want to go all the way over to Tiergarten. Perfectly situated if you live in Prenzlauer Berg or Friedrichshain. Don't be surprised if you see topless sunbather or two, though. However, that's probably characteristic of any park in Berlin. For strength and stamina running you can up and down the "Bunkerberg" and then onto the fitness trail
